This page explains how The Fitness Tips researches, writes and updates its articles.
Our sources
We use public health guidance such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, guidance from organizations such as the CDC and the American College of Sports Medicine, peer-reviewed research summaries, and equipment manufacturers’ instructions. When a number comes from a guideline, we name it.
What we do not do
- We do not claim to have tested products unless that is true, and we never invent test results, ratings, awards, quotes or personal experiences.
- We do not publish retailer prices, star ratings or customer reviews.
- We do not accept payment to include or rank a product.
- We do not give medical advice, diagnose conditions or promise weight loss, cures or specific results.
- We do not publish personal training programs or recommend exercising through pain.
Use of AI tools
AI tools help draft some articles. A person checks every article before publication; facts, numbers and safety statements are verified against sources, and anything we cannot verify is removed.
